Delhi: Monsoons are special as the rain showers bring in happiness and enchantment. Overpowering clouds, thunderstorm, splashes of water and the subtle darkness outside, roads covered in puddles of water and the pitter patter of the raindrops on the windows. Everything around looks bright and freshness is in the air. Everybody likes to drool for hot and spicy bhajiya/pakodas accompanied by masala chai.
With the monsoon come those street food stalls serving piping hot fried crispy treats, steaming hot and spicy foods and popular hot beverages. Driving at the Palm Beach road in heavy rain in just amazing. Standing in my balcony and gazing at the sky bring pleasant memories and refreshes mind and body."
